The platform brings group administration and financial management into one streamlined experience, promoting transparency, accountability, and efficient collaboration among members.
The objective was to design an intuitive system that simplifies how community groups organise resources, assign projects, monitor progress, and manage payments.
The Challenge
Community welfare groups often rely on manual processes, spreadsheets, and informal communication to coordinate projects and manage member contributions.
This creates challenges in tracking payments, assigning responsibilities, monitoring project progress, and ensuring that funds are properly accounted for.
There was a need for a centralised system that could connect project management with group financial activities, ensuring that payments are tracked and released according to agreed project completion conditions.
Our Approach
We adopted a user-centred design approach focused on simplifying group administration and creating transparent financial workflows.
Using Figma, we mapped the key user journeys for administrators, treasurers, project coordinators, and group members.
Our design process focused on: - Group management: Simplifying member registration, roles, and permissions. - Project allocation: Creating workflows for assigning projects, responsibilities, and budgets. - Payment management: Designing contribution tracking and project-related payment workflows. - Financial transparency: Making transactions, balances, and payment histories accessible. - Approval workflows: Introducing clear project completion and payment approval stages. - User experience: Ensuring that members and administrators can navigate the platform effortlessly.
